how to fix out of range tps

My 2000 focus 2.0 d o h c starts fine but as soon as you turn anything on ie.the air conditioner the engine rpms run up very high and won't come back down unless you turn the car off, what could be causing this.thanks cary

The TPS sensor on the vehicle is non adjustable,what can cause this is a IAC (idle air control) valve. you should also do a MAF (Mass air flow) cleaning and a throttle body cleaning.
