03 nissan altima tranmission gettin stuck in first gear. it will drive but wont change out

i had it rebuilt but it still doing the same .......im trytin to see wat im not doing or i=do i have to change my senesor

There are many things that can cause the transmission not to shift. Is the engine light ON? are there any codes stored in the transmission control module (TCM)
