The P0325 cod is for the engine Knock Sensor and it is not related to the engine overheating. For the overheating problem start by replacing the thermostat and engine coolant.

If your car is overheating, check to see if the fans are coming on and if the thermostat is opening. Most likely

p0325 will come on with other codes, do you have any other codes, if not dont worry about the P0325 yet, replace the thermostat if the fans are coming on.
