GOOD MORNING,
I HAVE A 2012 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE, THE ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND IN CHECKING WITH MY LOCAL MECHANIC WHO TOLD ME THAT IT WAS A PO302 CYLINDER MISFIRE WHICH HE COULDN'T WORK ON. I WAS ADVISED TO GO TO CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP WHICH I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH. I HAVE 40,000 MILES ON MY CAR, IS THIS SOMETHING WHICH WILL BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY OR IS THIS GOING TO BE A COSTLY REPAIR?
THANK YOU,
ERIC

It should be covered under warranty, might be a bad spark plug or a bad coil or maybe a clogg or bad fuel injector

Possible causes
- Faulty spark plug 2
- Clogged or faulty fuel injector 2
- Faulty ignition coil 2
- Fuel injector 2 harness is open or shorted
- Fuel injector 2 circuit poor electrical connection
- Ignition coil 2 harness is open or shorted
- Ignition coil 2 circuit poor electrical connection
- Insufficient cylinder 2 compression
- Incorrect fuel pressure
- Intake air leak
