P1361 Honda - what do i do to fix this P1361 Top Dead Center Sensor issue?

My 97 Honda accord check engine light came on and this, P1361 Honda - Top Dead Center Sensor, was the code that came up. What possibly caused it and how would I go about fixing it? I had drove through some kind of high water about 15-20 minutes before it came on. Would that have caused this issue?

Hi there,

This condition is normally caused by a faulty crank position sensor or TDC sensor. Some models don't use the TDC even though it will code for it. Replacing the crank sensor or TDC normally resolves the issue.
