ObdII code description (tdc) top dead center sensor noise detected what does this mean

Question

Check engine light came on car backfired couple times and engine lost almost all its power and temp gauge rose slightly above halfway point. After a few minutes started the car light was still on but all other problems were gone drove about 3 blocks to get it home and light went off
