Chevy 6.5 1996 2500 111,000
Reciently she started to stall soon after starting and would not restart for perhaps a half an hour. Today however it stalled at hiway speed and slower. In July it had a code for lift pump so I replaced the relay as I had replaced the pump last year. Today I changed the filter found no water or bacteria sludge. After changing the filter she started but no fuel came out of the vent in fuel filter she just started up and ran. Tonight I had running with the vent open to try to blead any air but I never got any fuel? Should I be getting fuel? How much pressure should there be on the incomming line to the FFM or output from fuel lift pump? Should I run pump with jumpers to get fuel ? I can hear the pump run when first turning on the key but it stops before any fuel exits the FFM. I would think that there might be air still in the FFM which could be pulled in to the pump.
