What a lean fuel trim is is more air to fuel ratio. The most common cause are vacuum leaks . Such when a airfilter is gettting change and the MAF (Mass air flow) tube is not properly attached or any vacuum hose that rupture or got diconnected. And even the EGR not properly seated, Can you drive this 250 miles this depends on the idle quality and a running perfromance. At cruise if there is no noticalbe difference, you can drive 1000 miles. This would rule out a fuel problem.
