P1797 jaguar XJ8 1998

Question

well there is more than one code they popped up after having battery problems codes as follows P0447, P0447 pending, P1000 pending, P1797, also has traction control fail message and stability control fail. it had a code of P1643 but was able to clear it with scanner. can I reset all of them with a master reboot by removing both battery cables and shorting them to drain all the reserve charge from the system and if so will I need to get anything reprogrammed by the dealer?
