HI there,

A pretty common issue on these is a leaking intake manifold gasket. With the engine running spray some carb cleaner along the intake and see if the idle speed either smooths out or goes faster, if it does, then you have a leak and will need to replace the intake gasket. If you have lower spark on a single cylinder then the new wires are defective, or the cap and rotor.
