P1494 Jeep - Where to Start

Im aware that this can be multiple problems. Are certain fixes more common than others when dealing with this code? Any info will help. I'm going to start by checking the vacume hoses. 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. 5.2 L , V8. 4WD

P1494 Leak detection pump switch or mechanical fault

This code you should check the vacuum hose going to the LDP switch rupture or disconnected vacuum hose, and hose blockage  for this is the main cause for this code condition.Jeep has produced a TSB for this condition TSB # 18-27-98 Titled LDP Mil on DTC P1494, what this is about are partial vacuum hose blockage in the LDP pump.you are to check for restrictions.
