P0340 Dodge - My car runs but when I turn off the engine and let it seat for a while and try to start it again it wont do it, it will crank but it wont start then I get a P0340

Hi there,

The code P0340 is for the cam position sensor. If this sensor isn't sending signal to the computer then the car won't have spark. In most cases replacing the sensor will resolve the problem.
