2014 Fiat 500 Pop 1.4L with 735 miles on it the MIL just came on saying that the O2 sensor is bad, what causes this?

I would disconnect the battery for an hour or so, the computer might need to be reset. It might be an issue with the air to fuel ratio sensor (sensor 1) or there might be an ecu update

if the codes comes back I would take it to the dealer

what code do you have? sensor 1 or sensor 2?
