The rear drive shaft had to be replaced do to vibration issues from bad ujoints. Could not find the ujoints so we purchased a driveshaft from a salvage yard. We now have a P0500 error code.

P0500 Vehicle speed sensor malfunction

Check the operation of the speedometer, if this is not operating normal check the condition of the speed sensor, could of just gotten disconnected somehow.Replacing the drive shaft whether new or used would not cause the speed sensor to fail. It just happend.
