P0301 GMC - do I have to change the ignition coil or just the spark plugs

Will I have to change the ignition coil as well as my spark plugs.

P0301 Misfire number 1 cylinder, you should test it first.When there is a misfire what can cause it can be fuel injector , engine mechanical conditions, faulty ignition coil , faulty sparkplug. a ignition analyzer would work great for this condition. Or bettery yet swap out the number 1 ignition coil with a diffferent cylinder, clear the code if a misfire code follows the ignition coil replace the ignition coil if it stays at the same cylinder further testing of that cylinder will be required.
