i have a 2006 vw passat. it is giving off the codes $7e8, and $7e9. i just had my ignition coils and spark plugs replaced about 2 weeks ago.

try to use a different obd-II reader the one you use does not  seem compatible with your car.

you will see a code like p0300 if its reader correctly
