P0171 2006 Toyota Corolla - maintenanced and still the code remains

Question

the toyota dealer said everything passed except for the intake manifold gasket and plenum needed replaced and they did so but still came on, i reset the ecu and it still came on 24 hrs later

P0171 could be related to an intake leak or air to fuel ratio sensor

 

there is a service bulletin for this car and this code that says replace the bank 1 sensor 1 air to fuel ratio sensor
