can a frp be fixed or do you have to replace it?

I have a 2007 F-150 with a code of P0191. and the engine light is on. If I add fuel additive it works for awhile then starts up again with hesitation etc.

P0191 Fuel rail pressure sensor "A" circuit range / performance

What the fuel pressure sensor does is command more fuel as engine load demands, the the rail pressure sensor is coded up, you replace the fuel rail pressure sensor, With this code P0191 you cannot do a fuel pressure test the reading will be inaccurate.
