my car won't easily start when cold but when hot it starts like nothing is wrong with it why is that I got the code cylinder 3 misfire
I'm not a mechanic but would like know what is causing the problems

Vehicle: 05 jetty gli 1.8 turbo

Hi there,

Usually a misfire code on a single cylinder is caused by a faulty ignition coil. If the car hasn't had any new plugs in it, it could be due for a tune up.

The other possible issue for the hard starting could be a coolant temp sensor or mass air flow sensor problem
