Just bought a 2008 Chevrolet Impala the engine light is ON and I got the code p0700. What should I do to fix? 141,000 miles

P0700 Transmission fault detected

When you get this code condition it is accompanied by another transmission code, P0700 just informs the ECM to turn the MIL light on. you will need the other code that is accompanied with this code.
