P0723 Output speed sensor intermittent

The output speed sensor or vehicle speed sensor(VSS) is a pulse generator, as the vehicle moves in drive it produces a variable AC signal,that is proportional to the vehicle speed,The TCM (transmission control module) uses this signal to calculate vehicle speed ,shift timing and gear ratio. The location is on the left rear transmission case,The solution is a replacement for this sensor
