P0735 Nissan -

Question

changed the valve body in the transmission but now the p0735 gear 5 incorrect code pops up. What does this mean ? model is a 2005 nissan maxima

is the valve body new? Is the car shifting hard(like slaming gear)? what issue or code did you have before replacing the valve body?

was there alot of metal shavings or metal pieces when you drained the fluid?  did you flush the transmission lines?

if  there was metal in shaving in the fluid and you did not flush the lines the dirty and metal filled fluid could make the new valve body go bad.

if the transmission is shifting hard the transmission will be bad.
