With this code or problem will I have to replace the transmission all together 2005 Nissan Maxima

if the car is not shift hard I would try to replace the transmission fluid (drain and fill) if you have not done so in the last 30k miles, dirty fluid can cause the transmission and shift solenoids to go bad.

if its shift hard and slamming gears the transmission needs to be replaced.

- Low transmission fluid level

- Dirty transmission fluid

- Shift solenoids

- Transmission mechanical problems

- Transmission hydraulic control circuit
