2012 Dodge Challenger SRT 8 Cyl HEMI with code U110A U0103, the gear will not shift P to N or D. We replaced the brake switch. Any other suggestions?

While driving, there is continuous communication between the control modules. For example, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) communicates with the Transmission Control Module (TCM), or in this case, the Electric Gear Shift Module or the Steering Column Control Module. Every time a module, let's say 'X Module', needs information from another module, 'Y Module', it communicates through the Controlled Area Network (CAN). If an 'X Module' cannot communicate with a 'Y Module', it will set a code. In your case, I don't know which module generated the code, but the codes indicate that the module cannot communicate with either the Electric Gear Shift Module (U0103) or the Steering Column Control Module (U110A). Begin by checking for blown fuses, damaged wires, or loose connectors. If the fuses, wires, and connectors are okay, then further testing is needed to determine which module is faulty.
