what does a 2009 Jeep Wrangler trouble code c 729 indicate?

Question

I used the ignition to check trouble codes (key in ignition, hold down odometer reset, turn on ignition 3x, read codes on odometer) and found the following codes:

19401
C 729
L 505
CF 9
5 900

The check engine light is on, and the transmission will not shift--acts like it is 2nd gear all the time, 4k rpm @ 60 mph

I cleared the check engine ( disconnect battery 30+ minutes) but it immediately returned

there are no such codes, try to use an OBD-II reader.
