I have a 2003 Honda Odyssey with the check engine light on.

The local Auto Zone read the codes for me and told me that the code was P0730 - faulty shift control system. The probable causes they listed were: 1 - low transmission fluid level, 2 - poor electrical connection & 3 - failed transmission shift control system.

I have checked the fluid and it is clear and at the right level.

I want to check the electrical connection, but don't know where to look. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks for your help.

You have to do a pressure test on the clutchs, but 90% of time the transmission and bad and will have to be replaced.
