There is nothing wrong with my truck. Why do I keep getting P308 code?

Why do I get error code P308 on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup when in reality there is nothing wrong?

P0308 Misfire number 8 cylinder

Check the plug wire there can be cross fire inductions.The sparkplug wire should have convolute tubing installed to prevent cross fire induction of the sparkplug wires and sparkplug wire should be check for any chaffing especially near the exhaust.you may need to route the sparkplug wires .
