2008 Nissan Xtrail Diesel with engine code P1614

Question

I have this code come up. It says Chain of IMMU - Key. It has an intermittent start problem; the battery was showing low voltage & it seemed okay to start ok when I charged the battery. Would a new car battery solve the problem?

Hi there,

Typically if you have this code then the key needs to be reprogrammed. Changing the battery will improve the car starting,but has no bearing at all on the key.
