I have a Honda Civic 2005 with a check engine light and a code of p0134 - Oxygen Sensor - Circuit no activity - Detected Bank 1 -Sensor 1. The Check Engine light comes on intermittently. Is this something that needs attention? Will it hurt to run the car? Could I replace this sensor or does it require a dealership?

Vehicle: 2005 Honda Civic 4 cylinder

most likely the oxygen sensor is bad on bank 1 sensor 1 and will have to be replaced.

the sensor is on the exhaust manifold, see picture below.

The sensor reads and controls how much fuel is mixed with the oxygen to get the best air to fuel ratio.
