P0762 Mazda 3 2004 how do I fix this myself, not sure where to find it?

my 2004 mazda 3 is stuck in 2nd gear. check engine light is on and the code is P0762. Can I fix this myself? Where will I find this part on the car? Is it an easy fix?

I would start by replacing the transmission fluid 

the car takes 7.6 quarts of fluid (not sure if this is the drain and fill amount or the overhaul amount)
