mazda 3 2004 transmission trouble

Question

i noticed the engine acting weird, i would be driving on the highway and my RPM's would be jumping up randomly, the car would be jerking forward, it ussualy happens when i accelerate, or go up a hill slowly/normal. i used to floor it so my car would stay in second gear till i get to 100, this would get the RPM's from jumping and jerking the car. when i last did this there was a bad jerk, it went to this my RPM's went all the into the redzone, about 6000 RPM's, when this happend the car did not jolt only revved, then the "AT" light and Check engine light came on simultaneously. then my car stayed in 3rd gear till i got home, then after that only went into second gear. it was almost like i floored it holding the clutch down, my car is an automatic mind you. i changed the shift solenoid solenoid "c" but the car still threw the same code at me after i cleared the codes. when i took the transmission pan down there was no shavings in the fluid or in the pan on the magnet. the car shifted into reverse really smooth again, everything seemed fine untill i get to third gear, then the "AT" light comes on once again, and when the car shifts into fourth gear, there is no reaction, the car only revvs up like in im neutral. does anyone know whats up?
