P0120 TPS (throttle position sensor) sensor 1 circuit

The TPS sensor is part of the whole throttle body assemby and is non replaceable if the TPS is faulty the throttle body will need to be replaced. There is a TSB about moisture or water getting behind the instrument panel and setting P2138 which is a reduced power due to water intrusion getting in the back of the IP (intrument panel) of the body harness connector.TSB# 07-06-04-019D. In the TSB you are to disconnect IP body harness terminal and inspect for corrosion or debris and clean and clear if necessary.(Do this with the battery disconnected).
