P0420 Catalytic efficiency failure

P0442 EVAP leak monitor (small leak detected)

Catalytic convertor do fail from mileage and use, If a replacement of a catalytic convertor is needed the engine condition should be inspected for proper condition, the engine should not be using oil (or burning oil) there should be no mifire,have good sparkplug and sparkplug wire. As for P0442 small leak detected are usually fuel cap where the seal tends to wear out , replace the fuel cap.
