How to rectify the P2118 error for Lexus 470, model2003?

Do you have the GX or LX Lexus? the throttle body might be dirty (if there is no wiring issues), you can try to clean it first.

There is also a recall from Lexus, in 2003 for the throttle body not sure if this recall has been done already call Lexus with your VIN number and see if the car applies for the recall
