engine light stays on

Engine light comes on at high speed then I turn off ignition then light stays off

I would think there an issue with spark or fuel. I would use 91 octane fuel from shell and use a good fuel system cleaner. and maybe replace the spark plugs with the correct OEM plugs if you have not done a tune up.
