I have 2006 Corolla and shows P0171 and P0741 code together.

I have 2006 Corolla and shows engine lights on and off about three month ago. Now the light is on always. The local mechanic scanned and showed P0171 and P0741 code together. He recommend to replace transmission.

The P0171 code is an engine code meaning there is a lean fuel mixture on bank 1.

The p0741 is a code for the torque convrter clutch and may be the result of a faulty solenoid and not the transmission. I would have a transmission shop give you a recommendation.
