I start it and it idles great or 20-30 seconds, then shuts off as if the fuel has been shut off. It does not try to keep running.
Fuel pump is brand new and works fine. Start it back up and same thing happens.
NOTE: I can keep it running by pressing gas pedal, but is tricky. It still wants to cut off, if I let it. Once in a while if I let it idle after pressing the gas and keep it running, to see if it'll idle, it decrease in rpms and catch itself, then increases rpms and will eventually shut down.
I heard it may be Mass airflow sensor? How would I tell and how to fix? Thank you in advance.
I would think its more like a dirty throttle body or a bad idle air control valve, you can clean the throttle body (use throttle body cleaner) and the mass air flow sensor (use mass air flow sensor cleaner)
