Engine light on with code P0758

Question

Upon complete engine change transmission slow to shift out of low. Could code be caused by throttle position being out of calibration? Any other causes without removing the tranny and changing shift solenoid b?

P0758 Shift solenoid B electrical / 2-3 shift solenoid circuit eletrical

P0758 is cause when there is a open or short in the shift solenoid.from there the transmission goes into a fails safe mode. You do not need to remove the transmission to replace shift solenoid that is causing P0758 this is shift solenoid No.2 which is in the valve body just remove the transmission pan and replace shift solenoid No.2
