2011 Nissan Sentra, every time I push on my brakes, I hear a clicking sound. I was told that is normal. Is that true?

The clicking sound you hear is a warning signal that it's time to change your break pads.  Some break pads come with a device embedded in the pads so when they get worn down to the required thickness to damand replacements, the clickers are revealed through the pad surface itself and cause a clicking sound which is a signal to the auto owner to have your brakes serviced.
