How do you clean a egr valve on a 07 Mitsubishi galant I am getting a trouble code p0401

P0401 EGR gas flow insufficient detected

You may not have to clear out the EGR valve there is a TSB about this situation titled MIL on DTC set P0401 set in ECM. TSB # 10-13-006 this is about reprogramming the EGR valve judgement criteria
