I have a 2001 toyota Camry 4 Cyl with a P0401 code. I cleaned the EGR tube and intake/ exhaust ports w/ carb cleaner, Checked hoses for cracks, replaced the EGR valve, the actuator solenoid, and the differential pressure sensor (DPFE) and still got a P401 code after 30 miles. I verified the actuator solinoid is functioning on the bench and there is 12VDC at the plug on start up. Freeze screen on code reader shows eng speed 1657, CALC Load 66.3, MAP ("HG) 19.8, Coolant temp 196F, IAT (F) 100, ST FTRM1 (%)4.7, LT FTRM (%) 0.0, VEH Speed 31, Fuel SYS 1 CLSD, FUEL SYS 2 N/A. It's almost like the EGR valve is working too early. It happens when the car is barely warm and then it sputters and spirts. If I pull the vacuum line off the EGR valve, car runs fine. It stalled the other day after going down the highway and comming to a quick stop in traffic. Any ideas????? I'm going insane with this one. Thanks
