Put long block in our S10 blazer. And now the darn thing's showing a code p1345 and I can't erase the code. There was no code before new motor.

P1345 Cam - crankshaft position relationship

P1345 reset the distributor. this code can only appear because the distributor is not correctly set.  Bring it up to TOP dead center, this mean cylinder number 1 in on the compression stroke. on the harmonic balancer you should see a timing mark line it up.Set the distributor , what gets in the way is the oil pump gear if need be use a long screw driver to move it so the distributor can properly line up.use this diagram. this is a distributor when it is out of the engine.and this is how it is when it is properly seated.
