Code reader stating a P2097 code. Replace the downstream O2 sensor 2 days ago. The check engine light came on again, checked the code, still stating P2097. Any possible reason why??

P2097 Down stream fuel trim too rich

Running rich condition is more of a engine mechanical condition , this can be from low compression , to improper valve timing.or a exhaust leak before the catalytic convertor.
