Diagnostic shows P0455 for a 2010 Ford Escape; however, this vehicle does NOT have a gas cap. What's the next step?

Hi there,

This code P0455 is for a gross evap leak. If the truck had a gas cap, then the first place to look would be a loose gas cap. Since it doesn't a smoke test must be performed to locate the source of the leak.
