I got the engine code P0106 on my 2005 Ford Five Hundred Limited

Question

check engine code P0106 came up research suggested the mass airflow sensor was faulty-
replaced with new
check engine light still on?

Hi there,

The code is not for the mass air flow sensor, it is for the MAP/BARO sensor. Usually if this sensor fails you will have poor running and loping with the engine. Most often the sensor itself is the issue.
