can bad H2OS cause a vehicle to fail emissions.

I have 2 H2OS sensors out and i failed emissions. it says my HC gpm readings were .0889 to high can that be the cause of those sensors being bad.

Vehicle: 1997 GMC yukon 5.7L

Yes a bad oxygen sensor can make the car fail emission. p0133 and P0135 are both codes for the same sensor bank 1 sensor 1 (it on on the driver side exhaust manifold)
