I am wondering if it is worth to fix. Speed sensor, Shift solenoid, and overdrive band failed off or something?

Vehicle: 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 5.2l V8

P0720 Low output speed sensor RPM above 15 mph

P1762 Govenow pressure sensor voltage too low or high.

You may just have one problem, The output speed sensor is not used for vehicle speed but for the govenor pressure calculation. Govenor pressure sensor is one of the famous problem with this transmission.it easily plugs up. It was said your transmission has 2 magnet one in the transmission pan and the govenor pressure solenoid/sensor. For now you can just replace the speed sensor
