P0106 Barometric pressure sensor circuit

P0106 is barometric sensor which is part of the MAF (mass air flow) If the engine is running rough the Barometric sensor will not cause a rough engine or a misfire condition. Inspection of a mechanical condition needs to be performed. What causes misfire are sparkplug ignition wire seeking ground or a failed ignition coil. Check each sparkplug condition. If it is wet with fuel that cylinder ignition is not firing this can be from a mechanical condition such as cylinder valve to cylinder head.Timing belt condition a slipped timing belt will set a MAP sensor problem so the inspection of the timing belt alignment mark needs to be made.
