Hi,

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 - 5.7 engine, got a trouble code, replaced EGR valve, then I got a PO132 code, changed front O2 sensor the problem cleared for a week then PO132 is back along with the pre-existing slight hesitation at initial acceleration and decreased gas mileage.

Vehicle: 2005 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI

P0132 -02 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 circuit high

Anytime a code comes as circuit high this is a disconnection ,  The ECM uses a strategy to maintain fuel economy and as a result this type of code disables the TCC (transmission torque convertor clutch) so as a result the fuel economy is decreased. But this is not the cause of pre-existing slight hesitation at initial acceleration, that can be from sparkplugs especially if the wrong type application are installed. if they are not specified by factory application. P0132 requires the troubleshooting of its harness ,start by inspecting the pin connection of the 02 sensor
