04 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi, auto trans 2wd. Complete drivetrain and dash and brake pedal assembly installed in a 74 Javelin body. The brake switch was broken in the donor truck, and a new replacement was installed in a new body. After adjusting the brake pedal travel the new switch was set by releasing the set lever. The brake lights work without the key normally but once the key is in the running position and the engine is running, the brake lights come on and the pedal has no effect. The 3rd brake light circuit works just fine, and I am currently using it through a relay to activate my brake lights. Not having bulbs in the normal brake light circuit causes a lamp out indicator in the dash so I have hooked up 2 stock brake lamps in the trunk to provide the test circuit a load to read. These lights remain lit whenever the motor is running. The cruise control light cancels as soon as the vehicle is put in gear. The ABS controller is installed but not being used as I do not have a front brake signal. I do have a rear axle 8000 ppm signal in the 8.8 Ford rear, the same signal Dodge uses. The stock dodge speedo does work but will need calibrating in the future to match the gear ratio and tire size I am using.
